7 Tips to be successful in Pinterest

Pinterest has become an important source of traffic for many bloggers who struggle with Google. It has become incredibly difficult to rank for good keywords in Google as everybody is after the same keywords. That’s where it comes in to play.

It is quite easy to succeed in Pinterest. It is not as saturated and as competitive as Google yet.

Here are my best tips to succeed in Pinterest.

  • Enable Rich Pins  – While this may seem already an obvious thing to do, not all bloggers or content creators enable rich pins on their Pinterest account.

  • Get your boards properly keyworded – Type your “keyword” on the Pinterest search box and see what all keywords ideas you can see. Use those keywords to keyword your boards properly.
  • Pin consistently – Spend time on the platform. And pin consistently. If you neglect your this social media account, Pinterest will neglect you do. Pin new pins consistently. People recommend that you pin 10-20 pins daily.

  • Repin pins that were suggested to you by Pinterest – Do you see that notifications given by this platform which shows you likely pins that you might be interested on? Re-pin those.

  • Have a pin it hover button enabled on your website – Get the plugin Pin It installed on your website. It will give an option to directly pin images from your website to reader’s Pinterest account.

  • Have follow me button on your website – Ask your readers to follow you on Pinterest with a follow me pop in or follow me button.

  • Design beautiful and stunning images – And most importantly, design beautiful and stuning graphics.
