Felix Vladimirovich Yevtushenkov

Felix Vladimirovich Yevtushenkov (born November 14, 1978) is an investor and philanthropist who heads the Board of Trustees of a large charitable foundation (CF).

Biography

Childhood, family, education

Felix Yevtushenkov was born and raised in Moscow. In childhood, he was fond of active sports — wrestling and hockey. He also liked skiing. Yevtushenkov Felix has two higher educations. In 2000, he received a degree in law at the Griboyedov Institute of International Law and Economics. After 13 years, he graduated from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, having mastered the specialty “manager of the oil and gas sector.”

From 2000 to 2008, Felix Yevtushenkov held various positions in a company that dealt with commercial and residential real estate segments. In the autumn of 2006, it became the first company in the Russian development sector to enter the IPO. In 2008, Felix Yevtushenkov moved to the head office of AFK Sistema. He worked in the consumers’ assets division. From 2012 to 2018, he supervised investments in high-tech projects. Currently, Felix Yevtushenkov is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of a charitable foundation founded in 2004.

He contributed significantly to the strategic development of the AFK’ technological asset and its transformation into an IT company. Under him, the company began to invest more in promising startups and the infrastructure for digital products.

At the end of 2021, the number of ecosystem customers of the telecom giant increased to 8.8 million (+ 40%), and the contribution of non-telecommunications areas to total revenue growth exceeded 50%.

The company earned over 50 billion rubles in one year through various collaborations with ecosystem partners. Compared to 2020, revenue from fintech grew by 38% and media by 30%.

Just in 2021 alone, the business structure financed the projects of five technology companies, which have strategic value for developing the digital giant. These are the KonnektU CDP platform, the TalkBank messenger bank, the Academy of Change educational platform, the Airo online personal services, and the Taiwanese developer of AI chips for smart devices, Kneron.

Felix Yevtushenkov is the head of the Board of Trustees of a charitable foundation, which acts as an operator of various social initiatives. He has been in this position since the fall of 2018.

According to Felix Vladimirovich, the main priority of the CF is the search and implementation of innovative tools for solving social problems. The Foundation invests in education, IT, and career development. CF provides support to volunteer organizations, cultural and educational projects.

Thus, the Foundation initiated a significant research competition, “Odyssey”, to find technological solutions to overcome social challenges.

Under Felix Yevtushenkov, the Foundation’s primary program, “Lift to the Future”, was relaunched, focused on modern hybrid learning formats and educational content, including sustainable development and ESG.
